TTP is posing a big challenge to Pakistan. In another major attack against Pak security forces, TTP inflicted severe damages to the Pak security forces in the South Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The TTP on its website claimed that in a successful counter-attack operation by its fighters, it destroyed two Pak army vehicles. During the operations, 23 personnel of Pak security forces including an army officer are feared killed or injured.
As per the TTP website, “On Thursday(27th October 2022), the army tried to raid the Mujahideen at around noon in the Janta area of Shaktoi Tehsil of South Waziristan (Di Khan Province).In the successful counter-attack of the Mujahideen, two army vehicles were completely destroyed and 23 personnel including an army officer were killed or injured.”
The TTP in its statement further said that “Wreckage of destroyed vehicles, dead bodies, and other military equipments are still lying on the battlefield and all the Mujahideen who participated in the counter-attack have safely returned to their centres.”
The initial euphoria of the Taliban taking power in Afghanistan is becoming a nightmare for Pakistan now as the attack on Pak security forces, especially in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, is rising.
However, Pakistan Army has still not commented on the incident.
